As COP30 unfolds in the heart of the Amazon, young people of faith are coming together to demand that promises of climate justice move beyond words and translate into real, equitable, and rights-based action. The press conference “From Words to Action: Youth Perspectives on Climate Justice at COP30” will feature youth climate advocates whose faith and beliefs inspire their commitment to climate justice. Their message is clear: moral leadership and concrete action must go hand in hand to address the climate crisis.
Grounded in their faith and beliefs and driven by hope, these young advocates are raising awareness, shaping policy solutions, and building community resilience. With COP30 taking place in the Amazon, a living symbol of our interconnectedness and shared responsibility, their voices remind us that climate action must protect people, ecosystems, and future generations.
